Helsinki Pride 2026: Parade, Park fest & Hotels

Finland's largest human rights and cultural event runs throughout June, with Helsinki Pride Week taking place from the 22nd to the 28th of June 2026 and drawing some of the biggest crowds of any Pride event in the Nordic region.

The week builds across multiple strands. Pride House acts as the community hub throughout the week, hosting performances, workshops and programming for all. The official Women's Party takes over Ääniwalli in Vallila's industrial district on Friday the 26th from 7pm, welcoming women, trans feminine, non-binary and gender-diverse people with a lineup that spans mainstream and experimental.

Saturday the 27th is the main event on two fronts. The Helsinki Pride Parade steps off through the city center, a demonstration for equality and diversity that drew more than 100,000 participants in 2025. Later the same day, the free Park Festival at Kaivopuisto brings the week to a close with live programming and gatherings that drew over 50,000 visitors last year.

Helsinki is one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly capitals in Europe, and Pride Week is the best time of year to experience that firsthand.
