Nashville Pride 2027 is expected to return to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in downtown Nashville. As Tennessee’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration, the annual Nashville Pride Festival and Parade attracts more than 150,000 attendees each year, bringing together the city’s LGBTQ+ community, allies, visitors, performers, and local businesses for a weekend of celebration in Music City.

While the official 2027 dates, entertainment lineup, and full programme have not yet been announced, Nashville Pride traditionally features live music, community events, food vendors, and one of the most colourful Pride parades in the Southern United States.

Nashville Pride is known for combining the city’s famous music heritage with LGBTQ+ celebration, featuring major performers, local artists, drag entertainers, and emerging talent. Previous editions have included headline acts such as Kim Petras, Big Freedia, and 4 Non Blondes. The 2027 lineup will be announced closer to the event.

Nashville Pride Parade

History and Significance

Nashville Pride has a history dating back to June 1988, when the first Nashville Pride parade took place with support from the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Around 250 people joined that first march, which travelled from Fannie Mae Dees Park to Centennial Park.

Since then, the event has grown into one of the most important LGBTQ+ celebrations in the Southern United States. Nashville Pride has continued to highlight LGBTQ+ visibility, equality, and community while reflecting the city’s reputation as one of America’s great music destinations.
