    1987 Bar Seville gay bar

1987 Bar is an 80s-themed bar on Alameda de Hércules, right in the middle of Seville's gay nightlife district. Billing itself as Spain's first 80s discopub, it plays retro hits from the decade, with a dance floor inside and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Alameda.

The bar opens late, making it a good option for drinks and dancing after dinner. It's a mixed, gay-popular venue rather than an exclusively gay bar, and is close to other LGBTQ+ hangouts including El Bosque Animado.

    Poor Service, Attitude

I was in the service industry for many years and I have traveled all over the world. We always love our time in Spain each year and always make a point of drinking in the gay bars, but I have never experienced such blatant poor service and attitude from bar staff who saw us, but always served someone else and ignored us, so we left. Yes we are not the regulars at Bar 1987, but we are here to enjoy ourselves and spend money in our own community. We had a better time in a straight bar, Sad!
