Palace Bar is one of South Beach’s best-known gay venues, with a prime Ocean Drive location and a drag show that regularly spills out toward the sidewalk. The big draw is the performers: expect high-energy numbers, plenty of crowd interaction and a steady shower of dollar bills, especially during the hugely popular drag brunches. The venue also has a rooftop bar with ocean views, plus indoor and patio seating.

It is open every day from 3pm until 5am, with 2-for-1 drinks until 9pm. Twist is 21+ and gets especially busy after midnight, so arriving earlier can save you a queue.
